Summer Build: Attention architecture design, high school industrial arts, and fundamentals of construction students. The deadline to sign up for the summer build course has been extended to Friday, May 25th. The course is available to all high school students in Mr. Wasinger’s 7th period, Mr. Ofstedahl’s 4th period, or any high school student that has taken industrial arts with Mr. Ofstedahl. This is a course that offers an excellent opportunity in gaining knowledge in residential framing as students will build half of a duplex in CB South that was designed by Mr. Wasinger’s 7th period class. With students having such an amazing experience building the home last summer, we ask that you seriously consider enrolling to be a part of something so timeless and rewarding. Sign up can be completed by going to the Summer Experience link on the GWSD website.

Summer ExperienceThere are a few spots left in our elementary and secondary Summer Experience programs. Registration will end on Monday, June 1. Go to CBCS.gunnisonschools.net to get registered! Don't miss the fun!

Big thanks for all the donations we received for the Summer Experience program. The only things we need now are cardboard egg cartons and clean, empty cereal boxes. Thanks for the generosity!

Snack Donations: We are always accepting donations of crackers, granola bars, and other single serving stacks that we can provide for students in need. If you would like to donate snacks, please bring those items to the office and we will distribute them appropriately.

The Spring Art Show: “Inspired By...” will be on display until Thursday, May 24th in the MPR. Come see amazing work from K-12, including drawings, paintings, collage, ceramics, sculpture and photography.
