Free meals for students going to school in person:

- Each student is allowed 1 free complete lunch and 1 free complete breakfast
Monday through Friday.

-If your child attends school in person, there is no registration required to get
free meals. They simply order with their teacher in the morning, at school.

- Please remind your child  to order in the morning, so the
kitchen knows how many meals to make.

-Help reduce waste: If you pack a lunch for your student, please know they can also get a free meal at school.  Please discuss with your child whether you want them to get a school meal or if they will eat the lunch from home. This will help reduce food waste.  We encourage kids to eat the meal they brought from home, but we won't turn them away from the free meal.

-Parents are still encouraged to complete the free and reduced-price meals application!

Here's why:
-Free or reduced eligibility can qualify students for waivers/discounts on activities, testing fees, college applications, ect.

- The school district gets funding based on the number of free and reduced-price meal eligible students.
